I think it's a smart cover, too. Emphasizing your names works really well in this particular case.

Man. I knew I should have bought a Kindle instead of a nook. Grr.

As if Crouch, Kilborn and Strand weren't enough, ya had to throw in F. Paul Wilson. I think I have a man crush right now, a four-way man crush. If Repairman Jack shows up, it'll be a five-way man crush.

Yes, I realize I probably shouldn't have admitted that out loud.

Teaser advertising..

Ok, it is working! If I could have found it (hint... link), I would have pre-bought it. ;)

This is without knowing (but knowing enough of the authors):
1. Is it a collection of stories or a single story collaboration?
2. What Era is the story set it? Bram-Stokes Dracula or 2010? or through history?

This one will sell. :)

How FUN! Finally, some REAL vampires! None of these sparkle, I hope? :)

hmmmm seriously I don't know if I can stomach any more vampires for a while.. *sigh* as long as these ones don't sparkle and aren't vegetarians I'll consider it ;p

I dig vicious vampires. This cover reminded me of one of my favorite book trailers, Guillermo Del Toro's The Strain.

It takes 4 guys to write a book...about vampires?

You better watch it Joe, or you may end up the Ryan Adams of writing.

(btw...I love Ryan's music)

Very cool. I guess that's one more piece of incentive to get an e-reader sometime in the future.

Any chance you can put it out without any DRM restrictions so that those of us without Kindles can convert it to something we can read?

JA Konrath said...

1. No sparkling.
2. No DRM.
3. Full length novel.

And it may be the most violent thing any of us have ever written.

Considering what's been written in the past by you lot, that's a bold statement, I reckon. :)

Wow. I'm trying to imagine the actual process of 4 writers working together on one novel. I hope you'll talk about that at some point.

Excellent. IMHO, there's always room for more vampires.

What? *gasp* But I thought...I thought...oh, my glittery vampires. Where willst thou go?

We discuss the process in an interview int he book. It was a snap.

@Selena I was thinking the same thing. Please, no more glittery, sparkly vampires. LOL

L O V E the cover. Who did this one? I might have to buy the book just to read about the collaboration.
